Dervish leaves
all over the streets
propelled by gusty winds
fly up startling, beautiful
Blink in staccato view
of zany attacks
their gold glint silhouettes swirling
before the white mares' tales
and mackerel clouds
blue sky
bare branches and twigs
already stripped
by this bizarrely prankish wind
that comes before
a dormant November
all over the streets
propelled by gusty winds
fly up startling, beautiful
Blink in staccato view
of zany attacks
their gold glint silhouettes swirling
before the white mares' tales
and mackerel clouds
blue sky
bare branches and twigs
already stripped
by this bizarrely prankish wind
that comes before
a dormant November

The dervish wind propelled poetry out of you! Good wind!
I love to rake leaves. i hate the noisy blowers and you can't escape them as they are everywhere.
Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. Wasn't looking at blogs for a few days.
