Our first crocus bloomed on March 6. Spring is late this year.
Tiny daffodils have also bloomed, a miniature variety that I call fairy daffodils.
Our good friend died March 12. I was thinking if we planted a flower in memory of everyone we lost, our yard would be entirely a memorial garden. It's a sign of getting old. I was thinking we should get one of those cemetery like angels for our yard.

Do you feed them with bone meal in the fall?
There are some daffodils here that didn't bloom the last two years.
