I planted two new hollies last week to serve the birds and shelter our windows instead of the American Holly we lost. These are called Blue Maids.
Our car is still in the shop from a collision the week before that. No one was hurt and we are thankful. We are using a rental car provided by the insurance company.
Today I hoed and fertilized around our vegetables hoping for a good autumn harvest.

Oh, I'm so glad no one was hurt. That is so upsetting when one's dear littlew car is injured.
Lovely new hollies. Do you do the heavy digging yourself, Lana? I hope you get someone to do that.
